Ski holidays in Nevada offer plenty of excitement if you want to do something other than ski. You could try your hand at activities such as snowmobiling or ice skating, or even go on a helicopter trip.
There is a great emphasis on fun and entertainment, with a fantastic selection of restaurants, bars and clubs to suits all tastes.
How many destinations?
There are several Nevada ski resorts within an hour's drive of Las Vegas or Reno. Lake Tahoe, which is situated on the Nevada/California border, is one of the most popular skiing areas in America. There are about 15 resorts offering fantastic views across the lake.
Accommodation?
Nevada offers a good range of ski accommodation, including hotels, apartments and traditional chalets. You could also opt for something completely different and stay at one of the huge casino hotels. Everywhere you go, you will find friendly and efficient service and very high standards.
