Situated right in the middle of the Alps, the ski resorts in Switzerland are acknowledged as being some of the best in the world. Ski holidays in Switzerland may be slightly more expensive than elsewhere, but the resorts are very high quality.
The ski resorts in Switzerland offer excellent skiing facilities and breathtaking scenery. After a day on the slopes, you can enjoy a range of activities and entertainment, delivered with that famous Swiss hospitality. Many Switzerland ski resorts have developed from farming villages high in the mountains and they still retain a sense of community. Trains are everywhere, with many running to the tops of mountains and acting as ski lifts.

For the more adventurous skier, Switzerland has some of the highest, biggest and most challenging runs in the Alps. If you love dramatic scenery, you can ski beneath famous peaks such as the Eiger and Matterhorn.

There are a great number of Switzerland ski resorts in a variety of sizes. Most of us are familiar with well-known, upmarket resorts such as Klosters and St Moritz, but there are others that offer holidays to suit a more modest budget.
