If you ski Engelberg, enjoy the skiing and snowboarding - especially the lack of crowds - even in Switzerland this resort is not that well known. All abilities catered for in a car free village centre.
Where
Ski Engelberg for a true Swiss Alpine experience. Dominated by the 10,000 foot glacier clad peak of Mt. Titlis, this village has a relaxed atmosphere and fantastic scenery. There's lots of great skiing, with 25 lifts serving over 82 km of piste, and it's easy to reach - Zurich is just 2 hours away by car on a good day.
On the slopes
Ski Engelberg for the great options for skiers and boarders alike. In fact, boarders are well catered for with a Boardpark and Quarter-pipe at Jochpass, powder and great terrain at Alpstublii and Laub, and some great guided off-piste. Advanced and intermediate skiers will enjoy the long runs of the Titlis area, and excellent off-piste skiing on the Laub. For families and beginners, Brünni has some lovely gentle runs, and there's even night skiing if you fancy something different.

Off the slopes
A picturesque village at the head of a valley, Engleberg's traffic free centre is stocked with restaurants, pavement cafés and shops. Après-ski options include numerous bars and pubs, including the Yucatan Music Bar, the Eden Bar, the Spindle and Terrasse. Other activities include a fantastic 3.5km toboggan run, a "Wet'n Wild" snow amusement park, an indoor swimming pool, and the famous revolving cable car, which will whisk you up to the peak of Mt. Titlis.
