Where?

The Leukerbad ski resort is located beside a panoramic scenic view of the Valais summits in Switzerland. Due to its status as a place of relaxation the village has developed into a tourist accessible town but still with plenty of small town charm.

On the slopes

Ski Leukerbad if you're an intermediate skier as there's no better place to head with seven expert trails and eight intermediate trails. This is not a great resort for beginners although there are a few easier trails available. The 25km cross country skiing trails are excellent as is the children's snow park, allowing parents the chance for a well earned break.

The Leukerbad resort is also an excellent place for downhill skiing, it provides 50km of downhill skiing and 18 pistes that rise above 2500 meters, providing plenty of natural snow areas. Additionally, 16 ski lifts make it easy to manoeuvre the slopes and allow skiers to take a breather before approaching another challenging run.
