Why not ski Arabba and be in the Dolomites this winter? For some great Italian hospitality and even more great slopes for skiing & snowboarding, why not Italy for your next ski holiday.

Where?

Ski Arabba and you are surrounded by spectacular mountain ranges - a beautiful setting with a great range of skiing and snowboarding. Arabba has 50kms of piste, and you also have access to the Dolomite Super Ski pass, which opens up the Sella Ronda skiing circus, made up of the four valleys of Livinallongo, Fassa, Badia and Gardena. Access via Bolzano, Venice or Verona airports is all more than 2 hours.

On the slopes

Beginners and intermediates will love to ski Arabba as almost 80% are greens or blues. The ski resort has 27 lifts that service 50kms of downhill runs and the Dolomite Super Ski pass allows you to ski the Sella Ronda circuit, while many visitors pay the extra c.£10 to ski the Marmolada - known as the 'Queen of the Dolomites', it is the highest peak in the range at 3,342m, and has an uncrowded run offering fantastic views which extends for 15kms. Something for everyone on the pistes.

Ski area

If you ski Arabba you are also in the ski region of Dolomiti Superski.

Off the slopes

There's plenty of accommodation in Arabba ski resort village, with a good variety of hotels, pensions, chalets and apartments to choose from. You'll also find a selection of shops and services. Après-ski includes a range of restaurants, discos and cafés catering for all tastes and budgets, serving both local and international dishes. Other activities available include hiking, ice-skating, ice hockey, sauna and an indoor swimming pool.

WE LIKE

  • Beautiful village set in the heart of the Dolomiti Superski area.Great for confident intermediates and advanced skiers and boarders
  • Offers the most advanced skiing in the Sella Ronda circuit and is the gateway to the Marmolada glacier, the highest peak in the Dolomites
  • Excellent value for money and lots of mountain huts with good food

WE DON'T LIKE

  • Not a lot to do off the slopes if you don't ski or board!
  • Not the best resort for children due to lack off activities off the piste and not great for novices
  • Apres ski does not really happen here!It can also get quite crowded on the Sella Ronda circuit
