Ski La Plagne

If you ski La Plagne, your ability won't overly matter as you'll enjoy your winter holiday whether you're skiing or snowboarding. This is all thanks to the Paradiski ski area - one of the largest in the world with 225kms of pistes.

Where

Ski La Plagne and you could find yourself at any of the 10 mainly purpose-built villages clustered around the valley town of Aime. On the slopes

High in the Savoie French Alps, ski holidays in La Plagne ski resort offer you access to the Bellecôte Glacier, with guaranteed snow throughout the season. This area has a reputation as being a dream destination for intermediates, with plenty of long, cruising runs, but more advanced skiers will enjoy a wealth of off-piste, ranging from 60º slopes on the north face of the Bellecote glacier through to delightful tree-lined runs that characterise the edges of the Paradiski area.

Ski area :

If you Ski La Plagne you are also in the ski region of Paradiski along with the following resorts; Belle plagne, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry .

Off the slopes

In the higher villages, much of the accommodation offers the convenience of doorstep skiing, and you'll also find a range of great restaurants on your doorstep - over 50 at last count. La Plagne comes with every type of food and every price range catered for, you'll always find something to suit you. The La Plagne ski resort après-ski is good, with 10 night clubs open till late. Other activities include ice rink and outdoor heated pool, ten pin bowling and even electronic golf at Belle Plagne. For additional activities, there's all the usual winter sports as well as an Olympic bobsleigh track.

WE LIKE

  • Extensive intermediate slopes, plus plentiful, excellent off-piste terrain
  • Fast cable-car link with Les Arcs
  • High altitude and snow-sure, with some wonderful views

WE DON'T LIKE

  • Pistes in the main bowl don't offer much challenge or much vertical
  • Pistes get very crowded in places
  • Few easy greens, though some blues are very easy
