On the slopes

From the village there's good access to Courchevel 1850 and the rest of the Three Valley ski area via a gondola that goes directly up into 1850. Off the slopes
The Courchevel ski resort is set amidst wooded slopes in the traditional village of Le Praz. It is ideal for a family holiday, with good accommodation, and some of the best restaurants in the area. Après-ski can be somewhat quiet, and centres around the local bars in Le Praz. There are some shops, but for non-skiers there's little to do. However, with both ski schools and crèche operating out of the village, families will find plenty to keep the children busy.
