Paso Tonale is one of the most popular ski resorts when you ski Trentino. Situated in a wide sunny valley, but with the Presana Glacier at its heart, it has an excellent snow record, and a good range of skiing. Choose between sunny nursery slopes, many wide red and blue runs, and a few challenging black ones too. This area is also a paradise for cross country skiers; there's 24 km of trails in the locality and six other nearby areas with trails as well.
Also when you ski Trentino you get the fabulous Val Di Fassa resort, another popular place for skiers and snowboarders. This area is divided into 14 parts, some of which link up to the famous 'Sella Ronda' Circuit. The 223km of slopes cater well for all levels of skier, with ski schools, 70km of cross country skiing, and several snowboard parks completing the scene.
For those who want to do more than simply cruise the slopes, there is a choice of ski tours available, that cover famous peaks in the Dolomites, and the area that played an important part in the Great War.

Tour operators commonly fly to Verona airport, and from here transfers would be around 2 hours.
