Ski Canillo

One of the Pyrenees' most beautiful natural areas, ski Canillo in the GrandValira ski area. With good skiing and snowboarding in Andorra, this is a great choice for beginners and intermediates and you also have fewer crowds during the week.

One of the best Andorran ski resorts, when you ski Canillo you can access the rest of the GrandValira ski region which includes Arinsal and Pal. There are approximately 37 intermediate and beginner runs and 5 advanced, with a total of 30 lifts. Canillo is 12 kilometres from the capital, Andorra la Vella, accessed via Barcelona or Toulouse airports.

Ski holidays in Canillo ski resort are great for beginners and intermediate skiers. This is a family-friendly location, and as part of the Grandvalira ski area offers access to several local resorts. Nearby Arinsal and Pal ski resorts offer great red and blue runs, while more serious skiers will enjoy the steep and mogul runs at Pic alt de la capa. The modern, 8-seater cable car has made it easy to access, depositing you into El Forn valley, a beautiful natural area.

Off the slopes

Canillo is a quiet town - you'll find a number of restaurants serving traditional Catalan food, with seafood a specialty, brought in fresh from the coast each day. The bars are relaxed and inexpensive, while if you want a little more nightlife, the capital city of Andorra La Vella is just 12 km down the road. Andorra La Vella is also great for tax free shopping, and while you're there, the spa complex at Caldea is well worth a visit.
