On the slopes

Perfect for all levels of skiers and boarders, ski Copper Mountain and you are divided into separate runs for different levels and there's a great snow record for the whole ski area. The off-piste Copper Bowl and Spaulding Bowls offer unbelievable powder and great natural terrain for jumps and lips, as do the two snowparks for boarders. The Super Bee chair lift is a monster - making light work of queues to whisk you to the summit in about 8 minutes. Finally, there's great ski lessons and tuition available for all.

Off the slopes

As a car free town, ski holidays in Copper Mountain are great for the family with the usual winter activities like ice skating and sleigh rides. There's a reasonable apres ski scene with some nice bars and cafe's - but don't come here if you are a party animal. Above all you get value for money here, with other resorts close by for variety if you are feeling a little bored. Families also like the ski-in ski out convenience and the ski lessons.
