On the slopes
Ski the Nevis Range and you will be set on the slopes of Aonach Mor, the eighth highest peak in Britain. Directly adjacent to Ben Nevis, the centre boasts over 20km of pisted runs, and 35km of non-pisted, with a longest run of 2km. Of the 35 runs, 7 are green, 12 blue, 11 red, and 5 black. The slopes run from a top altitude of 4,006ft (1,221m), so snow coverage can be good. SKiing and snowboarding is excellent here and definitely worth a long weekend or two each season.
Off the slopes
With Fort William so close to The Nevis Range ski resort, you'll find plenty of choices of accommodation both in the town and in the surrounding villages. There's everything from cosy bunkhouses and small, friendly B&Bs through to large, modern hotels - you can even find ones with private pools and fitness suites! When you are hungry or thirsty, you can try a meal at the Snowgoose Restaurant, or a quick snack in the Pinemarten Coffee Shop.
