Where
Located about 90km, or 1 hour north, from Lillehammer, ski Gålå with it's 15 slopes and 9 lifts. After a two hour flight from Oslo you are faced with an easy rail or car ride from the Oslo airport. If you plan on travelling into the nearby historical villages you may want to rent a vehicle.
On the slopes

With a few expert runs for highly skilled skiers the Gålå resort is an excellent place to refine the sport as there are challenges and plenty of learning slopes as well.
There are also four children's runs for your kids and ski instructors who are fluent in English to aid in the learning process who teach skiing and snowboarding. Seven lifts make it easy to navigate throughout the slopes. Snowboarders and skiers looking for a challenge also enjoy the terrain park and nighttime skiing is available on five slopes so that your day never has to end. Additionally you may enjoy the cross country trails across the Gålå ski resort area that total up to 210km.
Off the slopes
There are plenty of places to stay and many venues to relax at when you take a Gålå ski resort holiday as the local pubs, bars, and cafes are all heavily visited on the weekends. With accommodations from cabins to hotels with ski in access you can choose what best fits your holiday needs.
