On the slopes
Ski La Rosière and you will get plenty of snow - this resort has a reputation for having the most snow in the Savoie so ski holidays are usually fantastic. There are plenty of wide-open slopes suited to both beginners and intermediates, and good nursery slopes near the village. More advanced skiers should head to the top half of La Rosiere mountain for some steep interesting runs. Novice boarders will be right at home, while there is also a terrain park.

The night life is friendly, if not spectacular - check La Rosiere, Le P'tit Relais and Le Petit Danois. Late night options include the more refined Clay's piano bar, or the livelier Le Pub.
