Ski Bromont

Ski Bromont to be on the doorstep of Montréal. Great for beginners and intermediates, you even get even get night skiing. On the Eastern seeboard, this resort shows how good skiing and snowboarding in Canada can be.

Where

If you ski Bromont you will be located just 45 minutes east of Montréal - a great city to visit if you have the time. Perfect for advanced skiers, or those who like to ski on into the night (over 60% of the runs are equipped for night skiing). Of the resort's 128 slopes, almost 20% are rated as expert. Access is very easy via the airport and you can be on the slopes in around 2 hours.

On the slopes

If you ski Bromont this season you will find that there is a good mix of terrain, with an unusually high proportion graded expert - the breakdown is beginner 26%, intermediate 35%, advanced 21% and expert 18% - a really even spread. The 128 slopes cover 58km, but a longest run of just 2km - so not the place if you like long, cruising runs. Snowboarders will find a remodelled snowboard park, and there is also 55km of cross-country trails.

Relatively recently, Versant des Cantons has been opened providing mainly beginner and intermediate trails behind Bromont. In addition another 16 new trails were prepared for last season keeping a good number of trails and pistes for day and night skiing.

Off the slopes

Accommodation on site is provided by the Chateau Bromont, and there are other lodges located in the nearby town of Bromont. There's a selection of restaurants to choose from, but overall, this is a place for skiers and boarders who want to be on the piste.
