On the slopes
Although it's only at 175m, the consistently cold weather means that ski Mount Washington ski resort feature plenty of good snow. 13 lifts serve almost 60 trails, with a vertical drop of more than 2,000ft. Intermediates will find lots of good terrain, and advanced skiers will enjoy the double black runs. There are also 15 trails floodlit for night skiing, and a terrain park, the Telus X-Large Park, to keep the riders happy.
Off the slopes
Although most of the accommodation is in the city, Chateau Mont-Sainte-Anne is at the base area, and the Chalets Mont-Sainte-Anne is a condo complex nearby. Après ski is in the city, which has a fantastic selection of bars, clubs and restaurants. And when you're on the slopes, make sure to enjoy a local treat -stop at the slopeside Càbine Sucré where you can get 'Taffy On Snow' - a toffee lolly made by pouring boiling maple syrup onto fresh snow.
