On the slopes
If you ski Le Massif, regardless of your ability you will have a great time. Of the 36 slopes, around 50% are for beginners or intermediates, and 50% for advanced and experts. The longest slope is 3.8kms, but there are just five lifts providing access to the piste. Not the largest ski resort, but travel in February for the best snow conditions. Skiing and snowboarding here are excellent for the quieter pistes during the week.
Off the slopes
There is no accommodation at the resort, but Le Massif has an impressive range of facilities, including boutiques, shops, cafés and pubs. However, the nearby towns and villages offer a good range of bed-and-breakfasts, motels, chalets and villas. There's also a great range of alternative activities including sit-ski and telemark lessons, and more relaxing spa treatments such as massages, spas, saunas and pressure therapy.
