Where

Ski Gerlos and you are based in the Gerlos valley deep in the Zilletaler Austrian Alps. Offering both scenic slope glides and a friendly active village atmosphere you are linked to many of the other major Austrian ski resorts of the Valley. Access to Gerlos is relatively simple and easy from Innsbruck airport, with just a short transfer down the autobahn or from Munich and Salzburg in around 2 hours if you're travelling by car.

On the slopes

Ski holidays in Gerlos ski resort offer 65km close to the resort and a further 100km+ of pistes throughout the Zillertal ski area. Thanks to the village being at 1300m, there is endless snow throughout the ski season. Although most of the pistes are best suited for intermediate skiers there are many slopes for all ability levels, with plenty of ski schools for those who want to perfect their skills and technique.

Gerlos is also well known as a snowboarder's haven with many boarding runs and a great snow park. For those who enjoy cross country skiing as well as alpine, there are about 30km of mountain trails that allow you to explore the mountain from a high vantage point. For those who still want more, get out in to the Zillertal ski area for some great challenges, off piste and more terrain parks if you want freestyle.

Off the slopes

One of the main reasons people enjoy a holiday in Gerlos is thanks to the off slope activities that are for all ages. Those interested in après ski activities will enjoy the many local pubs, cafes, restaurants, nightclubs, concert halls, and discos.
