On the slopes
Ski Leukerbad if you're an intermediate skier as there's no better place to head for seven expert trails and eight intermediate trails. Not a great resort for beginners, there are a few easier trails and snowboarding courses as well. However, the 25km cross country skiing courses should provide something for everyone who wants a chance to hit the slopes as well as children's snow park for parents who need an entertaining place to leave children while hitting the intermediate trails.
The Leukerbad resort is also an excellent place for downhill skiing due to its 50km of downhill skiing and 18 pistes that rise above 2500 meters to provide plenty of natural snow areas. Additionally, 16 ski lifts make it easy to manoeuvre the slopes and allow skiers to take a breather before approaching another challenging run.
Ski area :
If you ski Leukerbad you are in the ski region of the Valais.
