On the slopes
Ski Interlaken ski resort are best suited to intermediate skiers, with excellent skiing throughout the Jungfrau area. For beginners, Wengen is the place to go, with a nice mix of nursery slopes, and gentle slopes to move on to. For experts, Wengen and Murren have some excellent challenges, both on and off piste. Interlaken itself has some goods skiing, with 48 ski lifts able to transport 22,000 skiers per hour over the entire ski field.

Off the slopes
There is a range of well-priced accommodation in Interlaken ski resort and the area offers hotels, motels and pensions. When you get hungry you'll a good selection of restaurants and cafés to suit all tastes, and the casino is an après-ski attraction. Most visitors also take a trip on Europe's highest railway - it climbs to the top of Jungfraujoch (3,454m), and offers stunning views out over the surrounding Jungfrau, Eiger, Mönch and Schilthorn mountains.
