The ski resort of La Tzoumaz is a resort popular with families which includes a natural ice rink, a heated swimming pool and also the longest floodlit sledge run that's 10km long. With a population of just over 300 it's very popular with British, German and Dutch skiers and snowboarders. A bit off the beaten track - but one to consider.
