Skiing Holidays in Slovenia
As well as family orientated, Slovenia ski holidays also cater for advanced and expert skiers and boarders in the resorts of Kranjska Gora and Maribor Pohorje in particular. In fact both resorts also host annual World Cup Men's and Women's races. There are not the hundreds of kilometres of linked pistes, however for all but the 9-5 skiers and boarders there are good pistes and some limited off piste too.
Ski Slovenia and you will find a lot of families thanks to great prices and crowd-free slopes compared to France or Austria. As said previously, there's lots of beginner and intermediate slopes and the Bohinj ski area has 5 great resorts within a single ski pass including Kranjska Gora. There's a range of accommodation from good to cheap and budget self accommodation and you can choose between hotels or traditional Slovenian cabins.
