Ski Glenshee and you get the UK's most extensive ski and snowboard slopes. Over 30 runs and 40km at all levels and relatively close to the airports, means the transfer is not as stressful as you'd think.

When you ski Glenshee ski resort you will be able to enjoy some of the UK's best resort facilities. It is located on the A93, 9 miles south of Braemar and 25 miles north of Blairgowrie. There is rail access via Aberdeen, Perth, Dundee or Pitlochry, while the nearest airports are at Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow (2 hours).

On the slopes
With 21 lifts and 36 runs, ski Glenshee ski resort offer a good variety of natural terrain for skiers and snowboarders, whatever their experience and skills. The 21 lifts comprise 2 Chairlifts, 16 Pomas and 3 T-Bars, with a total vertical descent of 1,500ft (457m). The 36 runs cover all levels, with 8 Green (22%) 13 Blue (36%), 13 Red (36%) and 2 Black (6%), the longest of which is Glas Maol at 2km. As a warm up for an Alps ski holiday it is gaining popularity too thanks to the easy road access.
Off the slopes
Located on the borders of Aberdeenshire and Perthshire, there is plenty of different types of accommodation to choose from including cosy B & B's, top hotels, and friendly farmhouses. The après-ski scene tends to focus on the hotels. You will find everything from discos to traditional ceilidhs. When you need to eat during the day you'll find three mountain restaurants - panoramic Cairnwell Mountain Restaurant, the Meall Odhar Café, and the Base Café.
