Ski Liechtenstein

The tiny principality of Liechtenstein and is bordered by both Switzerland and Austria. It is also the only country to lie completely within the Alps. It covers an area of only 62 sq miles and has a population of around 35,000. The biggest town is Schaan and the Capital is Vaduz and is the smallest, yet richest, German speaking country in the World. The expression small but perfectly formed certainly applies to Liechtenstein.

Due to its location and mountainous terrain it is ideal as a winter sports destination. Due to its size it has long been thought of as a very exclusive ski destination, but the people themselves are the first to point out that everyone is welcome and there is no elitism in Liechtenstein. Whether you come as a couple, with your family or part of a large group a warm welcome is guaranteed.
