Après ski in Val Gardena is lively, with a fantastic selection of restaurants and cafes both on and off the mountain. You can stick to your regular favourites (pizza, burgers, etc) or try some local cuisine. At night the cafés and bars come to life, with many places open until early the next day, and you'll also find some local culture on offer, such as folklore evenings. Other activities include curling, ice climbing, ice-skating, snowshoeing, swimming, paragliding, shooting, and horseback riding.
WE LIKE
- Advanced boarders and skiers get fast groomed pistes
- Beginners well catered for in all three villages that make up Val gardena - particularly in Selva
- Why not enjoy the Sella Ronda circuit - 40km and 6 hours roughly of skiing
|
WE DON'T LIKE
- Sometimes lift waiting times can be long
- The après ski is not the busiest - but then it is still good so will suit all but the biggest party animals
- Natural snow conditions are not the best in this area - but they have ample snow cannons
