On the slopes
The 400km of groomed runs available on ski holidays in Sauze d'Oulx mean that some of the best skiing in the region is found here. It is ideal for intermediate skiers, who will find that over 50 per cent of the slopes are graded red or blue, while 29 per cent of the runs are rated for beginners, and 21 per cent advanced. Boarders will enjoy both the piste and the snowboard park.

Off the slopes
In Sauze d'Oulx, a busy village combines traditional 16th century Italian architecture, sunny weather, and great party facilities, everything you need for a great winter holiday is here. Traffic can sometimes be a problem, but you'll find the town is overflowing with reasonably priced restaurants and pizzerias offering food for all tastes and budgets. Après ski is vibrant, with plenty of pubs, clubs, and smart cocktail bars open until the early hours. Popular spots include Crowded House, Paddy's or the Derby Bar.
