On the slopes

Ski Santa Cristina and on offer is an amazing range of skiing and snowboarding with 83 pistes and 175 km of slopes. The resort lies at 1424m, with the highest lift going up to 2454m. In addition, it is linked to the Dolomiti Superski area and is on the Sella Ronda Circuit - and between these two areas you could spend a whole season here and not run out of new experiences. This is a super serious selection of slopes and off-piste - so make sure you are fit for it.

Ski area :

If you ski Santa Cristina you are also in the ski region of Dolomiti Superski along with the following resorts; Arabba, Cavalese, Cortina d Ampezzo, Corvara, Kronplatz, Ortisei, Santa Cristina, Selva Gardena, Val di Fassa, Val di Fiemme, Val Gardena .

Off the slopes

Because Santa Cristina ski resort is somewhat spread out, it does not have much of a town centre - the après ski can therefore be a bit quiet. Those preferring something a little livelier should therefore consider staying in the neighbouring towns of Ortisei or Selva. There is still a good selection of restaurants, and all the basic facilities you will need. And if you prefer the peacefulness of cross-country skiing, there are 98 km of cross-country trails.

WE LIKE

  • The red run down into Sant Cristina is awesome for the end of the day
  • Some great tree-lined pistes for shelter and pleasant skiing
  • Excellent value for money and superb snowmaking/grooming of slopes

WE DON'T LIKE

  • There's quite a lot of short runs further up into the ski area
  • Almost no apres ski in Santa Cristina - so don't come for a party (Val Gardena instead!)
  • The pistes and lifts can get really crowded at busy times
