With 50 slopes that measure over 156km, ski Roccaraso for plenty of options for skiers of all levels on holiday. Most people however enjoy the wide range of expert and black snake trails as the ski resort offers 32 options for those who have an adventurous side, the most on the Italian slopes.
To begin with, the highest peak that a trail ascends from is the Treasure Toppo which measures in at 2141mtrs. The slopes are covered with a mix of artificial and real snow so the ski season stays open throughout the winter holidays and into the springtime. With plenty of modern lifts for those with disabilities and children, despite the challenges safety is always assured and over 500 instructors are available throughout the resort area for those who want to touch up or learn the sport.

Off the slopes
Most of the Roccaraso ski resort area is modern now due the destruction of the area during WW2 so you can rest assured that there are plenty of spa, bars, and dance areas for those who want a little extra recreation during their ski holiday. While in town it is fun to visit the historical site of Chiesa di S. Rocco built to honour a saint who protected the town from the plague that has remained standing since 1656. Plenty of restaurants are also located throughout the Roccaraso ski resort for a touch of Italian cuisine and many other traditional cuisines as well.
