On the slopes
When you ski Prato Nevoso, the slopes are naturally padded for the most part given that the area experiences a large amount of snowfall. However, the sun also shines on skiers hovering above the slopes from ten ski lifts providing for some vital Vitamin D to fuel the trip down the 20 slopes.
Great for intermediate skiers the slopes of the Prato Nevosa contain ten red runs, seven blue runs, and three black runs with 100km of downhill pistes and altitudes that extend above 200m. Snowboarding is also popular at the resort area along with nighttime skiing for a true thrill for those who want to spend every minute of their holiday on the slopes. The highest lift up the mountain exceeds 2029m with a top vertical drop of 529m from the trails.
Ski area :
If you ski Prato Nevoso you are also in the ski region of Mondolè Ski along with the following resorts; Artesina, Prato Nevoso
.
Off the slopes
Since the Prato Nevosa ski resort is built around the idea of finding relaxation from the daily stresses and grind of life outside of the slopes there is not an abundance of nightlife. There are a handful of restaurants for those who want to experience Italian and traditional cuisines as well as some local shops where gear and necessities can be purchased. For this reason many people seeking relaxation and families enjoy holidaying here.
WE LIKE
- Good skiing and snowboarding for beginners and intermediates - Artesina for experts
- Snowboarders well catered for with dedicated well equipped park - with some evening boarding
- Skiing within tree line is excellent for bad weather
|
WE DON'T LIKE
- Limited advanced and expert runs close to the village
- Not got the most lively après ski, but it's not non-existent either
- Is a purpose built resort so lacks some of the alpine echarm of other Italian resorts
