On the slopes

Known for its jumps and huge vertical, 50km of snow covered slopes are available when you ski Pragelato ski resort and for those with a sense of adventure there's also five jumps, a vertical drop of 3428 feet, and many cross country trails. So it is no surprise the resort hosted a jump for the 2006 Winter Olympics and is often chosen for Olympic training.

For non-experts and children there are also many beginner slopes in the resort making it practical for all holiday purposes. Plus, since snow formations follow the slope abominations, plenty of ski alpinism opportunities are available to expert skiers as well. Snowboarding is also allowed for those who wish to participate in this sport as well with plenty of piste opportunities.

Off the slopes

The local town of Prageleto also offers plenty of local shopping and small cafes for those who want to take in some local charm while on holiday here.
