The best restaurant in the area is considered to be Le Lac at The Hotel L'Arbina, while La C?te de Boeuf is for those who worship meat! • Huge amount of varied terrain, with swift access to Val d'Isere

RESORT BAD POINTS

  • Resort architecture awful - not to everyone's taste for an Alpine getaway
  • Bleak, treeless setting with many lifts prone to closure by storms
  • Limited beginners areas and not a lot for non-skiers
