On the slopes
Due to the fact that the Mottaret ski resort is linked well to the shared slope area of the Meribel ski resort and its excellent central location there are more slopes to try out then many other ski resorts in France. Although the largest chunk of slopes are for advanced skiers at 114, there are still plenty of options for beginners and experts since the 600km of pistes of the resort also include 121 beginners slopes and 33 expert slopes.
While you may think that transportation would be a problem, the 6 cable cars, 33 gondolas, and 69 chairs that make moving among the trails of the valley simple and flawless although it may take some time to travel between mountains. For snowboarders there are also nine parks and three nursery areas to help teach children how to ski since it's known as a family friendly area.
