WE LIKE

  • Superb resort for families with wide slopes and almost no queues - also got all amenities in Chamonix 5km away
  • There's over 55 km of tree-lined slopes to enjoy
  • The greater Chamonix Valley offers everything you could want at all levels - absolutely superb ski area

WE DON'T LIKE

  • Blue slopes can become a bit icy for beginners if no recent snow and warm days, cold nights!
  • Les Houches itself does not offer much après-ski - so head to Chamonix
  • Advanced and experts will have to explore other areas as not much close to home - although some great off-piste and the famous 'le verte' black run
