Want value for money? Ski the Czech Republic and get the full potential after reading our skiing and snowboarding resorts review. If you want to learn skiing and snowboarding - then you may not want to ski the Czech Republic as it is geared more towards intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders.
Whilst you get value for money, you won't get the sophistication or convenience of other European ski resorts. But you will of course get après-ski and traditional restaurants and bars. The Czech republic really does offer some great opportunities for you to get on-piste through northern towns like Spindleruv Mlyn and Harrachov in the Krkonose mountains. The season also lasts from December through to early April
Who will enjoy?
Couples, groups or skiers and boarders that want a change - something a little different! With some great value for money options and things like ski passes cheaper than other European ski resorts, you even get some great nightlife thrown in. The only reservations are focused around the lack of slopes and limited variation, especially for more advanced skiers and boarders.
How many destinations?
There are not the huge number of resorts compared to the other European countries like France or Italy and we have focussed on the three most popular resorts that ski operators have package deals for.
Accommodation?
Ski accommodation is varied but there seems to be a good spattering of half board hotels, self catering and apartments in the resorts we review.
