With good ski conditions usually from Mid November through to May, it's world class slopes offer great runs for all levels of skiers and snowboarders - so no one will come away unfulfilled - including two terrain parks and a half-pipe. You also get summer skiing up on the glacier!
Off the slopes
The cosmopolitan atmosphere of the Whistler ski resort exude vibrancy and excitement at every turn. Great bars and restaurants and great night life combine really well with a great family skiing holiday venue - excellent nursery slopes and ski schools too. For non-skiers (or lazy ones) there's a sports centre, pool. hot tubs and paragliding. There's also a trip to Vancouver only 2 hours away.

- Proximity to the ocean means a lot of cloudy weather, and snow on the mountain can mean rain lower down
- Two separate mountains for now - but with a gondola connection promised for two years' time.
- Mountain restaurants are mostly functional (and overcrowded)
