WE LIKE

  • Good snow record, with less chance of rain than at Whistler (and less chance of Arctic temperatures than at resorts up in the Rockies)
  • Great terrain for those who like it steep and deep, with lots for confident intermediates too
  • Some good on-slope accommodation available

WE DON'T LIKE

  • Mountain resort is very limited - although what's there is pretty good
  • Still too many slow, old lifts which means queues and delays at busy times
  • Limited groomed cruising for timid or average intermediates
