Ski Resorts in Belgium

Think of skiing in Europe and you immediately think of France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland etc. Those in the know, however, also include Belgium in that list. This relatively small country is best known for weekend breaks and duty frees, but the south east of Belgium has some impressive winter sport areas and the ease of access from the UK means that its popularity is growing steadily.

Although the mountains aren't high, and the highest peak comes in at 694m, the snowboarding and cross country trails are excellent. Night skiing, sledging and rides on snow scooters are also major pluses and are great for those who love the whole winter sports buzz but wouldn't be seen dead on a pair of skis. So check out our resort reviews and see if its what you are looking for.

Who Will Enjoy It?

Staying In Belgium

The accommodation is as vast and varied as the resorts themselves. Hotels, apartments, lodges, chalets, you name it and the Belgian ski resorts have got it. From traditional rustic to modern contemporary, there is accommodation in Belgium to suit everyone.

There is also the choice of self-catering, bed and breakfast etc so you can plan which will suit you the best. Bed and breakfast is the most popular option for many reasons, the main one being that the freedom you have on the cross country trails will mean you are out for hours, so why pay for meals you won't take or feel tied to your accommodation?
