On the slopes
The great thing about when you ski Zell Am See is that they offer some lovely tree lined skiing with fantastic views from the peak at Schmitten Pfiff. Beginners will enjoy the Maiskogel area, or the 21 green runs on the glacier. Intermediates will find 19 red runs on the glacier, and an extra 52km of reds and blues on Schmittenhöhe. For experts there are 9 black runs on Schmittenhöhe, and plenty of off-piste terrain, while boarders can enjoy both a terrain park and a rodeo-funpark.

Off the slopes
There are over 13,000 guest beds in the region, catering for all tastes and prices, and excellent nightlife. You can choose between numerous restaurants, cafés, bars and nightclubs - popular choices for dinner include Giuseppe and Lebzelter, while nightspots to try include Lupo's Bar, the Rock and the Bierstadl. Away from the slopes there are lots of activities - why not try something different like tobogganing, sleigh rides, ice-skating, hang-gliding, paragliding, or hot air ballooning?
