On the slopes

With just three ski lifts, if you ski Silbertal you must be aware that the immediate resort skiing or snowboarding is very limited. With just 11 acres of terrain spread over 3 pistes, but there is an impressive 710 metres of vertical descent. Snowboarders will enjoy the half pipe, and there are also 14km of cross country trails. However, as part of the Montafon region, with a joint pass you get access to over 70 lifts including the resorts of Schruns and St. Gallenkirch.

Off the slopes

Silbertal is a quiet traditional alpine village in the Austrian Alps - there's little need to worry about lift queues in the same way there's not going to be a massive expectation for a rowdy après-ski scene. Traditional bars and restaurants in hotels are the order of the day - but this is a resort for relaxing and taking in the beauty of the mountains.
