Ski Kirchdorf

On the slopes

Sitting at an altitude of 650m, ski Kirchdorf for plenty of natural snow cover from about mid-December to April. There are plenty of trails for all ski levels although beginners and advanced skiers will find the most trails with 52% and 42% allotted to them respectively. However, experts can enjoy the 8% of expert trails that are marked by their difficulty and amazing vantage points and views while gliding down the mountain side.

Snowboarders also have some great slopes, with a snow park and a half pipe as well as plenty of snowboarder friendly pistes. For those who want to explore the sights via skies at a slower pace there are also 120km of mountain trails throughout the Kirchdorf ski resort area. Off the slopes

A small village with charming architecture and locals, it's for those who want an alternative place to stay away from the commercialized Kitzbühel city and resort. Off slope alternatives include hiking, curling, bowling, ice skating, and tobogganing. There is also an indoor fitness centre that has a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna for those who need a relaxing acti vity after a long day on the slopes.

There are also many local shops for those who enjoy shopping and plenty of après ski activities including restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. For those looking for a larger crowd you can travel 6m down the road to the Kitzbühel for a wider array of entertainment options.

WE LIKE

  • Small traditionmal Tyrolean village in the heart of the Alps
  • Ski and snowboarding through vast Kitzbüheler Alpen Pass
  • A perfect place for a quiet holiday and romantic couples

WE DON'T LIKE

  • There are just 3 immediate slopes - all for beginners - in village
  • It's not Kitzbuhel, so you will need to get a taxi there if you want late rowdy nightys
  • Resort loses snow easily at statr and end of season due to altitude
