On the slopes
At an altitude of 2020m, ski Kuhtai for tons of natural powdery snow throughout the winter and partially through the spring. The majority of the 30km of trails are best suited for intermediate skiers, with 60% of the slope. But Kuhtai also offers 19% of pistes to beginners and 21% of pistes to experts.
12 lifts make it easy for skiers to get around the mountain and snowboarders often enjoy the advanced runs and the vertical drop of 500m. For children there is a magnificent ski kindergarten that allows parents to venture out to the expert trails while their children learn to ski on beginners hills. There are also plenty of ski tours for those who want to take in the sights from such a high vantage point. Night skiing is also available on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
