If you ski Kirchberg, despite being just 6km from Kitzbühel, you are connected directly to the ski region of SkiWelt along with the following resorts; Brixen im Thale, Ellmau, Going, Hopfgarten, Kelchsau, Kirchberg in Tirol, Scheffau, Söll, Westendorf
.
Off the slopes
The après ski is simply terrific in Kirchberg. There is a great selection of restaurants - you can try local favourites like Sauerkraut, or more international options such as the popular tortillas at La Bamba. There are also plenty of bars to choose from, as well as some quieter cafés. Away from the slopes you can relax with a swim or at the gym, go bowling, or explore the miles of walking trails. This resort offers a lot - although as a young family we wouldn't recommend it to you.
WE LIKE
- Good skiing for intermediates & beginners
- Attractive, and even romantic, resort and close to Kitzbühel
- Great après-ski in Kirchberg - not to mention access to it's illustrious neighbour
|
WE DON'T LIKE
- Lifts often get crowded - especially after lunch
- Not the easiest or best place for a young family holidays - although still a great place to come
- The cable gondola at Klausen is 5 mins bus ride - which takes you to Fleckalm at 1840m
