On the slopes

Ski holidays in Innsbruck ski resort can take advantage of all that Olympia SkiWorld Innsbruck system has to offer. This includes Igls and Mutters, perfect for novice and intermediate skiers, or Patscherkofel and Hafelekar, with steep, challenging runs for more advanced skiers. Axamer Lizum has a wide variety of trails, including the 1976 Olympic Women's Downhill Course, which is a favourite of intermediate skiers. The nearby Stubai Glacier, with 18 lifts and 35 miles of runs, ensures great skiing year round. Immediate slopes close to Innsbruck itself are a limit limited though.

Off the slopes

Innsbruck is a world-class city, so as you might expect it has a selection of hotels, restaurants, clubs and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. However, it also offers much more, with beauty, culture and Old-World charm, including a selection of great museums and galleries. If you want to see more of the area, you can also take day trips to nearby Vienna, Venice, and Salzburg, while Kitzbühel and St. Anton are also within easy reach.
