As part of Austria's Ski Circus, ski Hinterglemm to access a network of 54 lifts and over 200km of piste (and miles of off-piste too!). There's an excellent snow record and a modern lift system ensuring you a great winter vacation. Access to this resort is best from Salzburg although even Klagenfurt is not too bad.

On the slopes
When you ski Hinterglemm you can enjoy the 200km Ski Circus circuit. As the main circuit is made up of easy blues and undemanding reds, anyone with a reasonable ability and some stamina can attempt it - it gives you the chance to ski somewhere different each day rather than skiing the same bit of mountainside again and again. Snowboarders will also enjoy this resort, with two terrain parks, a boardercross course, and a half-pipe.

Off the slopes
The resort is based in two villages, Saalbach and Hinterglemm - Hinterglemm is smaller and more tranquil, popular with families, but still has a good choice of bars. Saalbach is the larger and more cosmopolitan, with a wider variety of hotels, restaurants, cafés and bars. It has a pedestrianised centre with some great shops and plenty of après-ski. Away from the slopes you'll also find other activities including night skiing and tobogganing, plus some excellent cross country ski trails.
