How Many Resorts Are There?
There are 5 main ski resorts in Argentina; Cerro Catedral, Las Leñas, Caviahue, Chapelco and Cerro Castor. They all have their own charm and it’s easy to check out online which one is the best suited for your personal requirements. Cerro Catedral, for example, is the party resort, while Caviahue is family friendly.
Staying in Argentina
There are a great variety of lodges for you to stay in at the Argentinian ski resorts, and as the majority of them are ski in ski out you never have far to walk. As you would imagine they differ greatly in size so you know that however many there are of you there will be accommodation to suit your requirements.
Getting Here
Getting to the ski resorts here can be a little difficult as many of them are a distance away from Buenos Aires, the capital. The best bet is to get a flight into Buenos Aires and then transfer from there. Flying into Santiago in Chile is another option. from either Santiago or Buenos Aires you can hire a car, get a bus or an internal flight.
