Off the slopes

Accommodation in this ski resort is plentiful, and runs from apartments to hotels, many of which are ski-in, ski-out. Food is plentiful, cheap, if not exactly haute cuisine. Après-ski is vibrant, with loads of great choices - some of the more popular locations include Milwaukee (the largest and most crowded bar), the Underground, Mulligans Irish Pub, KYU Disco-pub, and Kamikaze Surf. They all stay open until late, and there are lots of opportunities for free drinks.

RESORT GOOD POINTS

  • Good snow record throughout season
  • Low budget and relatively cheap for a week
  • Lively and young - so expect good nightlife

RESORT BAD POINTS

  • Tacky and ugly town - not alpine charm anyway
  • Long transfer from Barcelona/Toulouse
  • Not bad for families - but a lot of accommodationm close to clubs and bars - so can be noisy!
