Where

If you ski Pal, you'll find the ski resort very reasonably priced and very family friendly. Perfect for those who want a winter skiing holiday at a reasonable price, the resort has a lot to offer. Most people stay in nearby Arinsal, but once you are on the slopes you'll find wide open slopes and few lift lines. Pal is reached from either Toulouse or Barcelona airports.

On the slopes

Ski holidays in Pal are perfect for beginners and intermediates and it's they who will probably find most to enjoy on the pistes. There's over 63kms of wooded glades and open slopes spread over 41 runs, and with 31 lifts able to move 31,000 skiers per hour, queues (eve at peak holiday perdios) are kept to a minimum. For those seeking more of a challenge, there are five FIS slalom courses to enjoy.

Off the slopes

The Pal ski resort has much to offer. There's good childcare, so this is a popular family destination, but there's also a vibrant après-ski scene to keep younger and more energetic types happy. Restaurants are friendly and plentiful, with good prices and some great local fare - seafood is a specialty here. Visitors can also take advantage of the shopping in the capital, Andorra La Vella - there you'll find a huge range of goods in duty-free shops selling all the top designer labels.
