Off the slopes
Arinsal is a quiet town in the Vallnord ski area, though it can get quite lively in the evening. The compact centre makes it easy to get around between the restaurants and bars. You'll find a number of traditional restaurants serving fresh seafood, and the bars are relaxed and friendly, with drinks very reasonably priced. Nearby Andorra La Vella is a tax free shopping haven, with the spa at Caldea well worth a visit.
RESORT GOOD POINTS
- Lively bars
- Ski school geared to British needs
- Pretty, tree-lined slopes in Pal
|
RESORT BAD POINTS
- Very confined and bleak local slopes
- Runs to village need good snow to be open, and don't lead to centre
- Long, linear and rather dour village, with no focus
