On the slopes
If you're thinking you want to ski Arcalis, then skiers and boarders of all levels can enjoy the pistes and the ski resort. There's plenty of easy greens and blues to get you started, with some great rolling piste for cruising in the sunshine. Higher up the mountain, advanced skiers will find several black, as well as several long reds, all served by modern quad-chairs. Boarders are well catered for, with the 40,000m2 FreeStyle Area at Arinsal offering a half-pipe, and a variety of jumps and obstacles.

Off the slopes
Arinsal ski resort is an attractive place to stay, with a selection of bars and restaurants to keep you happy. The locals are friendly and the drinks are cheap - what's not to enjoy? Local food is readily available, in particular seafood, shipped in from the coast each day. The capital, Andorra La Vella, is worth visiting, especially if you like shopping. You'll find all the big names - Versace, Armani, Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren, and Dolce & Gabbana - at low, duty free prices.
